Models are an essential design tool; this belief is at the core of Fab: our professional workshop for model making, where technological innovation meets traditional craftsmanship. Integrated within the studio, Fab acts as a hub of ideas where our multidisciplinary research group, Park Plus, converges in a constant feedback loop between all the Plus units: Design Technology, Materials, Research, and Facades Design. By integrating design software with digital fabrication—such as 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser cutting—we exert precise control over project parameters from the earliest conceptual stages to the final version of the project. This allows us to test ideas and iterate rapidly, using the model to visualize the structural viability and aesthetic coherence of complex geometries and uncovering unpredictable, innovative outcomes that only emerge when digital precision meets tactile reality.
